Mozilla SOPA Protest

Hey TWG readers, It’s been a long while since I’ve posted but this warranted attention! We’re all aware of the PIPA/SOPA bills that the US Government was trying to pass and we’re all very aware of the Global Blackout that was plastered all over websites, in protest of this infringement on the Freedom of Speech and Information. But as the Government has shown time and time again over the last ten plus years, they don’t care what the people think any more and will do what is necessary to line their pockets and keep themselves in office. So this is something that’s been on my mind for some time now and frankly, I just don’t get it. Maybe I’m just some stupid WebGuy who doesn’t know what I’m talking about, or maybe, just maybe, the same thoughts and questions which are running through my mind, are also running through others. So instead of keeping it to myself in fear of looking stupid, I’ve decided to ask the tough questions and hope that someday, someone with some credentials can get the balls to ask the lawmakers themselves these questions.

But the topic of this post is to discuss all these Federal Bailouts the “American People” are giving, to soo many, of these American Businesses. Some of these bailouts I can understand, all while others, I just read and gawk at the absurdity of them. We’ve been bailing out, Banks, Financial Institutions, Vehicle Manufacturers, etc… and for what? So a bad business can stay open? And the thing that pisses me off, and I know most others, is that the Government is bailing out these companies with our money! (continue reading…)

I’m just your, Joe The Plumber, kinda guy who pays attention to the current events, listens to Talk Radio in the car, reads National and International news organizations websites, and talk with friends about my theories and concerns. I base what I think and write from what I read and hear. I do look at both sides, I always try to get as much as possible about both sides of the stories. I’m like you, a voting citizen who voted for McCain and saw that Obama isn’t all that he plays himself off to be. Uhhh, Uhhm, Uhh, Well, That’s a very good question. So, uhh, uhmm..
